Lawgiver MkII - Dredd 2012 by strangelysaucy Lawgiver MkII - Dredd 2012 by strangelysaucy
My custom build from scratch of the new iconic weapon used by Judge Dredd in DREDD 3D 2012.

And now....

For all those beautiful, brave creative types who want to have a crack at making a Dredd 2012 lawgiver like mine.

Who aren't exclusively members of weird, vindictive cosplay groups

Who have the willingness to superglue their fingers together, to the table, to the wife, partner, dog, curtains and still keep going.

Here are the templates to do so.

It's not a quick fix..it's not an easy job and you WILL need to ask me questions along the way..are you brave enough?

FREELY available from these locations WITH pictures and explanations

Oh! and there's also a freely available holster template and tutorial for the gun if anyone wants that too!? PM me for links.

Big thanks to many months of email ping pong and the saintlike sufferance of my endless questions go to :- MVeeKay he knows who he is and why I won't tag him

Now go...run like the wind, scratch your head, cut, build, showoff!

According to the movies, the Lawgiver is an advanced pistol that shoots different rounds and different fire rates and it needs an ID check so it can work, if anyone else grabs the pistol, they will die, the pistol shoots the following rounds
Basic: a lead bullet
Armor Piercing: Higher caliber rounds able to break through armor
Stun: electric non-lethal rounds
Incendiary: very advanced fore rounds
High Ex: Explosive bullets
Ricochet: a bullet in-cased in rubber that will ricochet off a surface and then killing a target
Hotshot: very advanced rounds that are heat seeking and will easily hit warmer targets

Fire rates
Semi: one round burst
Rapid fire: Full auto rounds

glad to see i'm not the only one who actually liked the film DREDD. i mean really... the film was actually realistic! the lawgiver actually looked a functional weapon instead of a over sized child's toy...

I've always had an intense loathing of the comic book version of the Lawgiver, it just looks like a standard, dinky, non-threading space pistol akin to something from Star Wars, Buck Rogers, or the 70's Battlestar Galactica.

Somehow though, the Stallone & Urban movies got the design perfect
